G.S. Hill's "Entering Series"
Pictured at the upper right is a sample of a remarque. It is a small pencil drawing created by the artist depicting a subject that appeals to the collector. The sample of the rose trellis in "Entering Siasconset" is the approximate size and is located next to the title within the print margin. The first 100 prints are reserved for remarques and incur an additional $100 charge. "Entering Nantucket" is sold out of Remarques. Each print is signed, titled, and numbered by Greg, and each is printed on high quality acid-free paper in the edition of 750. Paper size is 19" x 24" and the color image is 12-1/2" x 19". Framed size is approximately 24" x 30". We offer a dark walnut molding measuring 1-1/2" wide with a gold inner lip. The outside matting is white and 4" wide with brushed gold used for the inner filet and notched at center bottom to display title.

After first exhibiting his work on Nantucket in 1977, the Hill's opened the G. S. Hill Gallery on Old South Wharf in 1979. G.S. Hill Gallery, located on Straight Wharf, started its concept in 1981. Nine years ago G. S. Hill started the "Entering Series," a limited edition print. In 1994, after intense research and enjoyment, he finished "Nantucket 1894" as viewed from the Old South Church (Unitarian Church) on Orange Street.
